Volunteering Opportunities

The Greater Victoria Green Team is looking for volunteers.

You do not need a Meetup account to view details, and if anyone would like to sign up without Meetup, please email me (Kaitlin@GreenTeamsCanada.ca).

All ages, abilities, backgrounds, and experience levels are welcome! We will provide educational instruction and demonstrations, as well as tools and gloves for volunteers. There will also be delicious snacks!  These activities are a great opportunity for youth and community to spend time together outside, meet new people, learn new skills, and make a real difference in the community by taking care of nature.   Giving back to these local habitat protection areas fosters an incredible sense of connection to the people and places involved, and we highly encourage participants to bring their families too!  This is also a great way to gain volunteer experience and we are happy to sign off on volunteer hours for anyone who needs them.
