June 18th Recognition Ceremony at UVic (Farquhar Auditorium)
Rehearsal (8:45 am – 12:00 pm)- Grads are required to attend a rehearsal at the Farquhar Auditorium the morning of the Recognition Ceremony. The ceremony requires a great deal of organization and coordination. Therefore, participation is mandatory. Grads do not need to wear their regalia for the rehearsal. Families are asked to coordinate the transportation of their grad to and from UVic. While grads will be excused from their morning classes, attendance in afternoon classes is expected. Note, regalia will be distributed to grads in the days leading up to the event.
Ceremony – Grads are asked to be at the auditorium no later than 5:15 pm, in their regalia, and gather outside the main entrance. Families are asked to take their seats inside by 5:45 pm, and the ceremony is set to begin at 6:00 pm. The ceremony is estimated to take 2.5 hours.
Seat tickets – At this time, all tickets have been allocated. There will be a livestream of the event for those who are not able to attend. The stream will only be accessible through the link that will be sent out in your email.
