Cyber Seniors
The Cridge Village Seniors Centre (Hillside/Cook St.) is looking for student volunteers to help seniors with their technology.  This program connects generations through weekly visits, focusing on relationship building and bridging the gap in technology skills.  Students in grades 11 and 12 who need volunteer hours will pair up with residents who need help with their technology. Students assist seniors in understanding their iPad, smartphone, laptop, or computer, and the seniors provide students with the opportunity to practice mentoring as well as skills in engaging and creating relationships with someone many decades older than themselves.  If you are interested in volunteering, contact Matthew Milligan at mmilligan@cridge.org or call him at 250-220-2303
