Grade 9 Girls basketball tryouts: Tuesday, Nov 12th 6:30 pm, Thursday, Nov 14th, 5:00 pm

Grade 9 Boys Basketball tryouts: Wednesday, Nov 13th, 5:00 pm and Monday, Nov 18th, 5:00 pm.

The Board Games Club will be meeting today at lunch in the classroom at the back of the Library.  All students are welcome to attend.

The amazing Oak Bay Talent Show is coming on November 26th.  To register, please follow the QR code found on the posters throughout the School.  Big Prizes to be won

The Art and Culture Trip is on again!
The famous adventure of a lifetime is taking off for London, Ancient Roman Baths, Stonehenge, Paris, and Pasta and Mask Making in Florence Italy and so much more.   This is a 16-day trip in the first two weeks of July 2026, spots fill up fast, please see Ms. Wright in room 146 for the brochure which has all the details and application.  Application and deposit are required to secure a spot.

OB Ski & Snowboard Team – Important Deadlines:
*If you missed last week’s meeting, information packages are available in both the office and in front of the choir room.  There are posters with the QR code to scan for the required Google form indicating your interest at both locations.
Friday, November 15th:  Our first dryland session (In the SMALL GYM at 7:30 am).  Required paperwork (waivers, permission forms, athlete code of conduct, driving forms, etc.) will be distributed to those who have paid the deposit. There will be a food and clothing drive for the month of November.  Please bring in warm clothing & socks along with non-perishable food items.  Boxes are located in front of the Office.

SFU School of Interactive Art and Technology will be hosting a virtual information session via zoom on Nov. 26th at 6:30 pm.   SIAT has a wide variety of courses which include Film, Design, Virtual Reality, Animation, Game, Data Science(HCI), and more. UBC Faculty of Medicine recently launched the MD Outreach Youth Mentorship Program.​
