Pizza will be for sale for $4.00 a slice during lunch on Friday as a fundraiser for the Art & Culture Trip in July 2026. Also, there are 2 spots left on the trip! Come see Ms Wright for more information as soon as possible!
All Police Camp Interviews will take place in the Career Centre on December 11th and 12th. Please check your email to see your scheduled time or see Ms. Giesbrecht in the Career Centre.
The A block food drive competition is on! Please bring non-perishable food items, cash, or grocery gift cards to your A block class.
Some donation ideas include: peanut butter, granola bars, canned beans, coffee (beans/ground), rice, lentils, pasta, etc.
Grade 9 Leadership students will come by every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to collect your donations. Cash, cheques, and gift cards can be given to your A-block teacher.
There will be a pizza party prize for the class with the largest number of edible items and the class with the most money/gift cards donated.
The final day for this contest is Monday, December 16. Make sure to bring in all your donations by then!
Oak Bay Senior Theatre Company Proudly Presents A Christmas Carol performing on December 18th & 19th, doors open at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $5.00 for students/seniors & $10.00 for adults and they can be purchased through school cash online or at the door.
Do you enjoy anime fandom and Japanese culture? Tsukino-Con is an Anime Convention at UVic from February 15th – 17th 2025, and they are looking for volunteers in all positions. This program connects high school students with UBC Medical Students to learn more about being a university student, learning about self-care, and applying to UBC medical school. A local senior is looking for someone to help her with gardening for winter 2024 and spring 2025. The work will vary depending on the time of the year, racking, weeding etc. The work will be paid at $20/ hour and she expects it will be about 2 hours/week to start. The schedule will be worked out to accommodate her and you. She would like you to write a short biography about yourself, a bit of personal background, focus at school, plans for the future, and broader interests. Young’s Restaurant is hiring for a Casual delivery position.
Delivery Drivers must provide their own car
Hours are flexible, from 4-8 pm.
Qualifications:
1) Own a car with valid Insurance needed, & a valid BC driver’s licence
2) Good customer service/delivery skills
3) Safe driving practices
