REMINDER: Daily Announcements are posted on our Oak Bay web-site, Google-docs-Remind and on the window by the office door.
C4C – there will be a meeting for students and staff that would like to be involved with this year’s ” Cops for Cancer” campaign, in the big gym at lunch TODAY. The next big event is our Car-Wash this Saturday!
JUNIOR BOYS SOCCER – Try-outs start next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday on the TURF after school.
LEADERSHIP PREP – will start next week – Pick one of these sessions -Monday after school at 3:30 OR –Wednesday morning at 7:30. Both sessions are in the Cafeteria.
OAK BAY ON-LINE PLANNING STUDENTS – There will be a meeting for ALL Oak Bay On-Line Planning students this Tuesday Sept. 13th. at lunch in room 304 – Miss Taggart.
JUNIOR BOYS VOLLEYBALL – All those interested in playing Jr. Boys Volleyball please show up for a quick meeting after school today-Thursday, Sept. 8th. in Room 207 with Mr. Sran.
SENIOR BOYS VOLLEYBALL – tryouts – Thursday and Friday after school. If you cannot make it today, please see Mr. Carmichael in room 236 or stop by the gym to leave your name.
ROWING CLUB – If you are interested in joining the Oak Bay Rowing Crew, please come to try-outs TODAY Sept. 8th. at 3:30 in the small gym. All ages and experience welcome and please wear appropriate active attire.
WATER IS LIFE NETHERLANDS EXCHANGE PROGRAM- Visit and experience the culture of the Netherlands through our partner school Maurick College this school Year. Chance to earn 4 Directed Studies credits. Develop practical scientific field skills. Engage in a relevant, real-world research project. INFORMATION MEETING – Thursday Sept. 15th. See Mr . Shrubsole in room 233 for more information.
ALL CHOIR STUDENTS – (even if you are not registered) meet in the Choir room today- at lunch. AUDITIONS – Thursday 3:15 for Jazz Wave and Jazz a’latte’.
SENIOR CONCERT CHOIR – Men and Women, first rehearsal this Friday Sept. 9 at 7:30am!
CAREER CENTRE – The University of Glasgow’s School of Veterinary Medicine will be at St. Michael’s University on September 14th from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. 3400 Richmond Rd.
COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP CLASS – We will meet this Monday Sept. 12th. at 7:25 am in the Cafeteria.
STUDENT PARKING – off Goldsmith St. by the track. The new walkway to the school is open.
