2017 GRADS – who missed the October grad photo session or that want a retake grad photo, can sign up for a photo session time in the office.  The grad photo retake day is Tuesday, December 13.  First time sitting fee bring  $10.00.

POLAR BEAR SWIM – and Winter Assembly Friday December 16, – We are looking for student lifeguards to volunteer for the Polar Bear Swim at Willows beach.  If you are interested, please contact Ms. Taggart room 304 asap.

WANTED – 3 volunteers to help collect food during the Oak Bay Truck Parade this Saturday Dec. 3rd at 3:45 for details, see Ms. Taggart in room3.

 Ski/Snowboard Team – Additional Permission Forms’ Packages are available from the office.  Parents & Participants Meeting next Wednesday at 7:30pm in the Block Box.

CHRISTMAS HAMPERS – We are looking to organize Christmas Hampers this year for families who are in need.  This is something that is typically done through advisories, and then is wrapped and delivered on the last day of school (Friday, December 16th).     We fill the Christmas Hampers with food, gifts specific to that family, and gift certificates.  Please let Ms. Kubicek room 313 know ASAP, if your Advisory is interested in, and whether you would like to do this independently or share your hamper with another Advisory.

CAREER CENTRE  – *Volunteer Opportunity in the Hospitality & Service Industry   If you are looking for a Volunteer role that will give you training and skills in the Hospitality & Service Industry, consider a volunteer role with the BC Cancer Agency You must be 16 or older and willing to commit to one 3 hour shift per week for a minimum of 8 weeks.  Café is open Monday to Friday only with shifts at 7am-10am, 10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm.   If you are interested contact Alan Brown at the Cancer Centre alan.brown@bccancer.bc.ca
