Can Julia Guarasci, Cleo Henry, and Katherine Lee please come see Ms. Kubicek in room 313 at the start of lunch.

Any students wanting to join the cross country team please come see Ms. Kubicek toward the end of lunch in room 313.

Reminder to all C4C canvassers who are needing to pick up their routes, to come by room 313 throughout the day, ideally not at lunch, to pick up their route packages.

Any students who do not have the Oak Bay App can download it here to see daily announcements.  Also, daily announcements are posted to the Oak Bay website.

Any student who plans on being a TA needs to connect with their teacher to have it added to their schedule.  These need to be added by Tuesday, September 22

Any grade 12 student who would like to be added to scholarship prep needs see Mr. Alexander a.s.a.p.

Any student who would like to be added to an outside the timetable class that hasn’t met up yet, please come to the office for a course change form.

Attention grade 11 and 12 students and parents. For the past several years the Canadian University Event has been held here in our gym.  This year it will take place online.  There will be several live sessions that you can register to attend.  Sept. 28th, 29th, 30th, Oct. 1st, 6th, 8th from 4pm-8pm and Saturday Oct. 3rd, 10am-2pm.  More information and registration instructions will be posted on the Oak Bay Career Centre website when it becomes available.  https://oakbaycareercentre.weebly.com/whats-going-on

Are you considering a business school after high school?  A Bachelor of Commerce degree?  UVic Gustavson School of Business will be hosting a Zoom meeting on Wednesday Sept. 30 at 1:00pm.  If you are interested in taking part please email Ms. Giesbrecht at sgiesbrecht@sd61.bc.ca to receive the Zoom link.

TEAC 105 – Explorations in Technology at Camosun  (grades 10-12) February 2021 start date.
Students interesting in exploring mechanical engineering, electronics, civil engineering and computer science will be introduced to career options and basic skills to help support their post-secondary decision making.  This course is on Friday afternoons for 13 weeks.  There is an application fee of $43.51 but students do not pay for the course.  Please contact Ms. Giesbrecht if you are interested in applying.

Oak Bay Cross Country team is always looking for new members, so if you missed the team orientation meeting, but would like to join the team please see Ms. Kubicek in room 313 this week for more information.

If you missed the AMP meeting yesterday,  no worries go see Mr. Spray in room 309 Wednesday afternoons for details.  If you do not have math until q2,3 or 4 then u will want to see me ASAP .
