Volunteering Opportunities
“B You: Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds” is a multi-week group mentoring program designed to encourage healthy relationships, balanced eating, and positive self-image among female-identifying and gender-diverse middle school students. Three to four female-identifying mentors (17–30 years old) are matched with a small group of youth and meet in-person during school hours from October to December. Each weekly session is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours long, and some additional preparation time is required. Volunteer mentors receive training and support and gain experience with group facilitation, lesson-planning, and leadership.
