ALL GRADS – EVERY GRADE 12 NEEDS TO PICK UP THEIR – “GRAD PACKUP FOLDER”  TODAY AND TOMORROW  IN THE BLACK BOX AT LUNCH.  YOUR PACKUP INCLUDES: GRAD PHOTO, DINNER DANCE TICKETS, BUS TICKETS, BLOCK PARTY INFO AND GRAD INFO.  *WE WILL ALSO BE CONFIRMING GRAD TRANSITION REQUIREMENTS AND GRAD WRITE UPS FOR GRAD CEREMONY.

EVENING OF DANCE –  TONIGHT-Wednesday May 11 & Thursday May 12  –  7:00 pm in the Theatre. Tickets on sale in the Accounts office.  Students/seniors  $8.00.  Adults  $10.00.

 LEADERSHIP STUDENTS – There will be a meeting about the “Grade 8 Orientation” today- Wednesday at Lunch in room 300. All Leadership students welcome!  Grade 8 Transition afternoon is Thursday May 19th.

BUSINESS CLASS – “Glay’zd Donuts” – will be selling fresh Glay’zd donuts at lunch today.  Donuts-$1.00 and Donut  holes .50cents.  Stop by the Student Plaza at lunch today and get your fresh Donuts!

C4C 2016 – there will be a meeting for all people  interested in being in an active leadership role in the 2016 campaign next Monday May 16 at LUNCH in ROOM 300. We will be nominating our campaign co-leaders. Please spread the word.

 Cultural Connection Program:  We are getting ready for next year.   Are you interested in making new friends from all over the world? Then you should join the Cultural Connection Program! This is a great way to students of Oak Bay to get to know each other. If you’re interested and would like to learn more, follow the link to our sign up sheet.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP – Advisory Teachers, HAND IN YOUR fundraising envelopes INTO THE OFFICE. Community Leadership is challenging all Advisories to raise money for the SPCA.  The Advisory  with the most money  will win a Pizza Lunch for their Advisory.

 SUMMER SCHOOL – 2016 Summer School  registration forms and Continuing Education Summer Registrations forms can be picked up in the office.

CAREER CENTREReminder to all students who signed up to take a Dual Credit course next year that you need to hand in your Online Camosun College Confirmation to Mrs. Giesbrecht by tomorrow (Thursday) morning

BOOK DRIVE – continuing this week in support of the Canadian Diabetes Association. Drop off your gently used books to the boxes provided around the school.

C4C VOLUNTEERS – Sunday May 29 there will be a Spring Kids Fun Fair at Willows Beach in support of C4C. We need a number of volunteers to help out with the running stations, baking, selling food, set up & take down. See Ms. Kinnear in room 313 anytime to sign-up for this fun and rewarding event.

OAK BAY FILM & TELEVISION –  will be holding a short film festival on Friday, June 3rd during focus.  We are opening the festival to entries from all Oak Bay students.  Entries must be submitted to Mr. Laird by Monday, May 30th and be no longer than 5 minutes.  See Mr. Laird in 151 for details.
