REMINDER: tomorrow in the last 10 minutes of Focus, there will be a locker clean-out.

EMPTY LOCKER – CLEAN OUT– Deadline for empty locker clean out is this Tuesday, June 20th  3:00 PM – Leave the locker empty, door open and lock on backwards and lock it. This includes gym lockers and dressing room lockers. Abandoned items will be in the lost and found and then donated to WIN on June 29th.

THIS WEEK tonight-Wednesday– 7 PM – Grade 9 Musical Theatre presents Peter Pan, tickets $5. at the door.     Thursday– Lunchtime Dance Choreography (theatre).   Friday-Last day of classes noon/yearbook/BBQ.

LIBRARY BOOKS/TEXTS DUE – A reminder to all students – please return all books to the Library by the end of this week, Friday, June 16th.  unless you are using them for your final exams.

MATH STUDENTS – If you are challenging a math course this summer, did you know you can do it at OB. See MR. Spray for details.  You can begin challenging the course now and finish in early September…

CAREER CENTRE    – Volunteer at Summer Camp and receive $500 – Youth Leaders in Training (14-18 years) is accepting applications for Summer Camp Volunteering.  Apply before June 21st by sending your cover letter an resume to:    Ryan Lance Crystal Pool & Fitness Centre 2275 Quadra St. Victoria, BC V8T 4C4 or email YLIT.VIC@gmaill.com  If you have any questions please call 250-361-0706. Old Navy “On The Job” Training – this is a 2 part program that will teach students what it takes to be employed in retail.  You must be 15-18 year old.  The sessions are Monday June 26 and July 10 from 7-9:00pm at the Flipside Teen entre @ Pearkes Recreation Centre.  If you would like more details please see the poster outside the Career Centre.

*Step Up Youth Volunteer Program at Royal Jubilee Hospital – Royal Jubilee Hospital is accepting applications to volunteer until June 30th.  The positions will start in the fall and can be considered unpaid work experience if you would like to earn credits.  To volunteer you can apply directly to VIHA at www.viha.ca/volunteer_resources/

*Moksha Yoga Victoria and Westshore are looking for volunteers or students wanting to do work experience over the summer.  Applications can be completed and sent to info@mokshayogavictoria.com or info@mokshayogawestshore.com

Work experience requires paper work to be completed at the school before the summer.  Please see Mrs. Giesbrecht if you are interested.
