28 HOUR FAMINE – Reminder to all those who are participating in the 28-hr. Famine to please pick up your parental permission forms from Ms. Taggart’s room 304 and to please return them by Thursday, November 17th.

Congratulations to the Jr. Boys Volleyball team on their strong placing at Lower Islands. Oak Bay was defeated by PCS in the finals and finished in second place. Their next competition is the Island Championships this weekend at Claremont. Good luck!

ROYALS HOCKEY GAME – Meeting tomorrow at lunch and after school in Room 300 to collect money for those attending the game. OB Leadership will be taking a group of 25 – 30 students to the Royals Hockey game next Tuesday Nov. 22. The sign-up sheet is in the office and the International Room 202. Canadians and International students welcome.

Girls B Basketball OPEN practice – today – after school in the small gym.
Oak Bay Interact and Rotary club – is hosting a Nearly New and Artisan sale at Monterey Recreation Centre on November 19th from 10am-3pm. If you have “nearly new” items to donate there is in a box in Mr. Bradshaw’s room 209. All proceeds are going to Oak Bay Rotary’s youth programs in the community. If you are interested in renting a table for only $30 there are spots for youth artisans left! Please contact nicole.q@hotmail.ca if you have any any questions.
