GOLFERS – IT IS TIME TO GET THE GOLF SEASON ORGANIZED. Please come to the meeting in room 307 today  at lunch.  If you cannot make this meeting, see Mr. Carter as soon as you are able.

BADMINTON TEAM – there will be a mandatory meeting in room 212 (Ms. Baker) at lunch today.

 Me to We – Want to learn more about Me to We?  Join us today,  March 14th at lunch in room 304. Discover and learn about this amazing and empowering organization.

 ALL RUGBY – Junior and Senior boys rugby at a tournament all Day TODAY. Girls Rugby is also at the tournament.  Please excuse their  absences.

TOMORROW & Every Wednesday  during focus block students will spend time learning about mindfulness and other relaxation techniques while engaging in low-impact physical education in the small gym.  Mindfulness activities include – Stretching,  Yoga,  Body focus work,  Relaxing music with vocally lead mindfulness activities. Everyone welcome.

CANADA 150 YEARS CELEBRATION – Come join us for our “Remembering Our Canada” celebration theatre performance “Undertold Stories” tomorrow- Wednesday March 15th at 6:00 pm in the Theatre.

LOST AND FOUND ITEMS – will be on display this week in the main hall.  Please take only what belongs to you. Leftovers will be going to WIN on Friday . Teachers- if you have any lost items in your classroom, feel  free to add it to the table.

GRAD CEREMONY AND Grad DINNER DANCE – REMINDER –  Fees are due into the office no later than this Friday March 17th.

GRAD 2017 – All the information you and your grads need to know about Oak Bay High Grad 2017 is available on the school website.  To access this information from the website, select “Student Info” – “Oak Bay High School Grad 2017” and then click on the appropriate grad hat.  This year we will not be emailing information to parents and students individually.  The Grad 2017 website will be updated as more information is available.

CAREER CENTRE – GRADS – The University of Alberta will be in Victoria at the Parkside Hotel & Spa (810 Humboldt St.)  tomorrow – Wednesday March 15th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm to help students with registering for fist year classes.  Please RSVP to www.uab.ca/reg101 if you plan to attend.

* Games2u Victoria is hiring!  For more information on qualifications and hours please see Mrs. Giesbrecht or the posting outside the Career Centre.

*Coast Capital Savings is currently accepting applications until Friday, March 31, 2017 at 4:00pm for the Youth Get It Intern program. This program gives Grade 11 and 12 students a unique work experience opportunity to work full time during July and August, as well as every Saturday when they’re back in school.  The Youth Get It Intern program is a one-year commitment, from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2018.  Students can find more information about our program and the link to the application at http://www.coastcapitalsavings.com/youthinternsTo be eligible to apply, students must be:   Entering Grade 11 or 12 in September 2017, live in Greater Victoria and must be available to work full-time during the summer months.
