Fruit & Veggie program –  Send a runner from your Advisory to Foods room 143 today, to collect your sweet grape tomatoes.

GRAD REHEARSAL SONG Mr. Price has called a grad song rehearsal for all grade 12’s in the theatre today at the beginning of Advisory. Grad Rehearsal :  tomorrow –Wednesday- morning.   Grads show up at 8:30 to the University of Victoria Farquhar Centre (by the flags).  YOU DO NOT need your gowns for the rehearsal.

OAK BAY SHORT FILM FESTIVAL – has changed to this Wed. and Thurs. during focus. Two different days  of student Short films featuring comedy, mystery, love, adventure, and Polar bears.

Congratulations to the Oak Bay High School Track Team – for a very successful weekend at the BC championships in Langley.  The team of  almost 50 athletes in both the Junior and the senior teams competed well and made a great showing in all the events.  A number of * juniors were medal  winners with Jade Forrest finishing third in the pole vault, Isaac Clements gold medalist in the pole vault and Joe Robertson  capturing a silver medal in the 3000m race and an stunning gold medal in the 1500m . Annika Weir was top 5 in both the racewalk and the pole vault.     *The Senior Team had an amazing weekend and captured its 11th provincial title with 25 different athletes contributing to the point total with an outstanding team effort.  There were  many amazing performances and great efforts.

RUGBY – Congratulations to the “Barbs” who finished with a bronze medal at the BC’s. First in public schools. Huddy Huddy!          *Senior boys rugby will be away this Friday- playing in the Provincial Sevens Rugby championship.

OAK BAY GIRLS RUGBY – Cup winners !    Trophy will be brought to back to school on Monday.  Back to back provincials and City championships !  congrats

CAFETERIA KITCHEN – will be closed for the day THIS Friday June 9th (due to the Special Education grad ceremony) The last day the cafeteria kitchen  will be open this year is –  Thursday June 15th.

CAREER CENTRE    Local Oak Bay resident is looking for 1 or 2 students to help him with about 5 hours of gardening.  Please see Mrs. Giesbrecht for on how to contact him.

*GARDEN HELP – Local Oak Bay resident is looking for some help in the garden.  She is looking for someone who enjoys gardening and will pay $12 for an experienced gardener or $10 if she needs to train you.  Please see Mrs. Giesbrecht if you are interested
