LIBRARY BOOKS/TEXTS DUE –  A reminder to all students – please return all books to the Library by the end of this week, Friday, June 16^th.  unless you are using them for your final exams.

LOCKERS – All students – Deadline for locker clean out is next Tuesday, June 20^th  3:00 PM – Leave the locker empty, door open and lock on backwards and lock it.

GRADE 12’S GRADS – if you want a grad- Cap and  2017 Tassel stop by the office today and pick one up.

CONGRATULATIONS- to the Senior boys Rugby 7’s team,  that came second in the province.  Well done Lachlan, Hector, JT, Tom, Marcel,  Hirai, Henry, Nick and Max!

CONGRATULATIONS – to the Oak Bay Sailing Team, placing second at the Island Championships this weekend.

Attention Female Volleyball Players: Vic High is hosting the 1st Annual High School Grass Volleyball Open this Saturday June 17th.  Check in with your volleyball coach if you are interested.​

MATH STUDENTS –  If you are challenging a math course this summer, did you know you can do it at OB. See MR. Spray for details.  You can begin challenging the course now and finish in early September…

FUNDRAISER – There will be a dance fundraiser at lunch this Wednesday.  Tickets are $2.00 at the door and all $money goes towards feeding the homeless.

JUNE EXAM SCHEDULE   

CAREER CENTRE    – Old Navy “On The Job” Training – this is a 2 part program that will teach students what it takes to be employed in retail.  You must be 15-18 year old.  The sessions are Monday June 26 and July 10 from 7-9:00pm at the Flipside Teen entre @ Pearkes Recreation Centre.  If you would like more details please see the poster outside the Career Centre.

*Step Up Youth Volunteer Program at Royal Jubilee Hospital – Royal Jubilee Hospital is accepting applications to volunteer until June 30^th.  The positions will start in the fall and can be considered unpaid work experience if you would like to earn credits.  To volunteer you can apply directly to VIHA at www.viha.ca/volunteer_resources/

*If you would like to do work experience you will need to see Mrs. Giesbrecht for an application and more information.

*Moksha Yoga Victoria and Westshore are looking for volunteers or students wanting to do work experience over the summer.  Applications can be completed and sent to info@mokshayogavictoria.com or info@mokshayogawestshore.com

Work experience requires paper work to be completed at the school before the summer.  Please see Mrs. Giesbrecht if you are interested.

*Mr. Spray is looking for a part time nanny for next year. This would be for 1-2 days per week.  Please contact him for details.
