Tonight – THE SENIOR DRAMA PROGRAM –presents – “Guilty?” a modern adaptation of “12 Angry Men” performance – curtain up at 7:00pm. $5.00 adults, $2.00 Student/Seniors at the door

 SENIOR GIRLS SOCCER  – Tryouts are on the turf immediately today right after school for any interested players.

POLE VAULT CLINIC – Any students interested in trying Pole Vault there will be a beginners clinic for OB students only in the small practice gym tonight at 6:30. Bring PE clothing and a friend and come try a new event. It is for boys and girls! See Mr. Sheffer for any questions. 

EVENING OF DANCE – Evening of Dance Tickets are on sale now!  Shows are from 7-10pm this Tue. Jan 24, Wed. Jan 25 and Thurs. Jan 26.  Tickets are being sold at the accounts office (to the right of the main office), during school hours. Get your tickets early as shows do sell out!​ Students/Seniors $8, Adults $1

Duke of Edinburgh Program Information Session – Are you interested in learning more about the Duke of Edinburgh Program? If so, join us for an informational session this Monday, January 23rd at 7:25 am in the cafeteria. Come and learn about this amazing opportunity! OPERA FANS – the Magic Flute by Mozart is playing at the Royal Theatre on Tuesday February 14th. at  7:00 pm. Tickets for students are $15.   Students interested should see Manjit after school room 213.

HANDBALL TOURNAMENT – Big gym this – Mon, Tues, & Wed, January 23, 24,&25.  Sign-up sheet is in the office. Winners receive a pizza lunch. Each team must have a girl on the court at all times.

 2017 YEARBOOK  Grad Write ups: Grade 12’s please submit your grad write up by Tuesday, January 31st.  for the 2017 Oak Bay Yearbook. The write up must be a maximum of 100 words.  Go to bit.ly/gradwriteup2017​ to submit your entry.  Your write up may include anything you would like, a quote, well-wishes, memories, etc. The write up must be a maximum of 60 words, or will need to be edited by yearbook staff. *St. Michaels University is offering grade 11 Oak Bay students an opportunity to take a SAT Prep Course this Spring to prepare them for the June SAT exam.  It’s on Tuesday afternoons and Saturdays starting on April 8th and ending on May 31st .  Please see Mrs. Giesbrecht for more details on how to register and receive a discount.

*The School of Health Information Science at UVIC  is hosting its Spring Open House on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, from 4:30 pm ¬– 6:00 pm, at the University of Victoria’s Hickman Building, room 110.
