 SCHOOL MUSICAL – OPENING NIGHT TOMORROW – “Legally Blonde” tickets are on sale at the Accounts office –  Show Dates are: Feb. 24, 25, Mar. 1, 2, 3 & 4 7:30 pm.   Matinee  Feb. 26 at 2:00 pm.

 ALL STUDENTS – Course Planning forms for Sept. 2017. Hand in your completed signed forms into the office no later than  this Monday Feb. 27th.

 GRAD 2017 – All the information you and your grads need to know about Oak Bay High Grad 2017 is available on the school website.  To access this information from the website, select “Student Info” – “Oak Bay High School Grad 2017” and then click on the appropriate grad hat.  This year we will not be emailing information to parents and students individually.  The Grad 2017 website will be updated as more information is available.

YEARBOOKS – The yearbook lists are posted outside the Accounts Office next to the main office. If your name is on the list you have already purchased a yearbook.  If you are not on the list and you wish to order a yearbook you still can until Tuesday Feb. 28th  from Ms. Carbery.  The cost is $55.00.  Please do not phone or email the school regarding your order.  If you have any questions about the list please see Ms. Carbery in Accounts.

CAREER CENTREDiscover Tectoria 2017 – Tomorrow -0 Friday February 24th from 11AM-6PM Crystal Gardens at 713 Douglas St. will host over 70 exhibitors to showcase Greater Victoria’s #1 sector, technology.  If you have no plans on this Pro-D-Day and are interested in technology then head downtown to learn more.  It should be a great event.

* Applications are now open for the 2017 Vancouver Island Youth Parliament Session, March 10-12 on Salt Spring Island.  VIYP provides a forum in which youth can develop skills in leadership, public speaking, and the parliamentary process, and put these skills into practice through service to youth in their community.  More information and applications are in the Career Centrer.  Application deadline is March 1st to Mrs. Giesbrecht.  If you have any questions contact Sophie Sacilotto (sophiesacilotto@mgail.com).

*Butchart Gardens- is looking to hire students for its busy season. Applications and information can be found in the Career Centre for food services, visitor services, custodial services, Seed and Gift Store, and gardening.
