Girls Basketball Gr.9 – Gr.12 Meeting for 2026/2027 – all interested players: there will be a meeting on Friday, September 18th at 2:30 pm in the Small Gym. Information will be shared about signing up for Fall Run ‘n Gun teams, winter tryouts, open gym, and meeting the coaches. Bring your basketball shoes for an open gym free shoot after the meeting. Please join us for a session with admissions officers representing each of the Ivy+ institutions. This group includes Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Princeton University, Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University.

The Marine Careers Expo is a national initiative that brings together Government of
Canada organizations, marine employers, and educational institutions to connect with communities across Canada. Hosted in partnership with the Royal Canadian Navy, the Canadian Marine Careers Foundation, and the Canadian Coast Guard, the Expo features interactive exhibits, engagement with marine professionals, and opportunities to explore careers on the water. October 3 will bring together marine employers, organizations, and educational institutions to showcase the wide range of shipboard and shore-based career opportunities available across Canada’s marine sector. Exhibitors expected to participate include the Royal Canadian Navy, the Canadian Coast Guard, ABCDMI, BC Coast Pilots, BC Ferries, Canada Border Services Agency, CIMarE, Clear Seas, Horizon Maritime, Hullo Ferries, KOTUG Canada, Pacific Pilotage Authority, Western Canada Marine Response Corporation (WCMRC), and other marine industry partners. Educational institutions and training providers expected to participate include the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Western Maritime Institute and other organizations offering pathways into marine careers.
