Tuesday, September 5th:
Grade 9’s: 9:00 – 10:30
Please come and join us in the theater for a quick assembly. As you arrive at the school, we ask
that you find your name, listed by alpha, posted outside the main office and down the main
hallway (2 locations) to find your period A teacher and room number. This teacher will be your
first class teacher and will also serve as your advisor throughout the first semester.
After a brief assembly, you will meet with your period A teacher, in their class, to receive your
timetable or schedule and to go over some school information. You will then visit each of your
first semester classes. Many staff will be available to guide you as we know you are only
beginning to become familiar with your new school.
Grade 10’s – 12’s
Please go to your Period A teacher’s classroom where you will receive your student timetable.
Alpha lists will be posted outside the office and in the hallway where students can find their
period A teacher’s name and room number.
The Cross Country Team will have their first practice Wednesday after school at the Oak Bay Track. All returning and new athletes are welcome to join the team. Bring your running gear for our first practice, and if you have a conflict, please come to Friday’s practice at the Oak Bay Track after school. See Ms. Kubicek in room 313 if you have any questions about the upcoming Cross Country season.
Cops for Cancer is back! There is a meeting in the big gym at lunch on Wednesday, September 6th. We will be talking about upcoming events and dates. This is a great opportunity to get involved, gain volunteer hours and make new friends. Hope to see you there!
There will be a mandatory meeting for all students registered for CLE 11 On-Line here at Oak Bay on Monday, September 11 during Focus Block in Room 304. You must attend in order to have access to course materials.
