Volunteering Opportunities

Heritage Acres and The Vancouver Island Model Engineers will be hosting “The Halloween Express” on October 21, from 4pm-8pm; Oct 22, from 4 pm-8pm Oct 23, from 2 pm to 6pm.  This Halloween event is very popular with about 1200 people attending each evening. It is geared to young families, we have lots of activities such as games, haunted house, graveyard, pumpkin carving and more along with many train rides for everyone!!  We would be excited to have any students who would like to volunteer for their school hours to join us. We ask that these students are mature and eager to work, fun, able to supervise Halloween activities, and get props ready prior to our event.  If they are interested and eager to do some fun work, please have them email me as soon as possible.  Our first fun and exciting activity will be “making scarecrows” on Sunday, sept 18 from 10:30-2:30.  My email is dianawigen@gmail.com to sign up and get more details to this event.
