You still have time to purchase a yearbook.  You can purchase a yearbook through school cash online or come to the office with your $65.00.

All grade 9 and 10 boys interested in playing basketball this year, please attend a meeting on Wednesday in the small gym at lunch at 11:30.

Today is the last day to fill out this weeks Walk to Win form for the chance to win prizes.  Google form is on the Oak Bay App.

Attention Grade 11’s – Are you considering an American University after high school?  Grade 11 students will have an opportunity to write a Practice SAT (PSAT) exam the morning of Jan 26th in our library.  Seating is limited and will be issued on a first come first serve basis once the student has registered with Ms. Giesbrecht and paid the $25 fee.  Check-in will be at 7:45am with the exam to start at 8:00am and finish at approximately noon.  In order to secure your seat bring in a $25. cheque payable to Oak Bay High School to Ms. Giesbrecht as soon as possible.

The Yearbook Committee are collecting photos for the Summer Student Life section in the Oak Bay High Yearbook. Please upload any of your summer photos with Oak Bay students in them for the yearbook. Would you like to write the University of Waterloo Math Contest?  Open to Grades 9-12. TEAC 105 – Explorations in Technology at Camosun  (grades 10-12) February 2021 start date.
Students interesting in exploring mechanical engineering, electronics, civil engineering and computer science will be introduced to career options and basic skills to help support their post-secondary decision making.  This course is on Friday afternoons for 13 weeks.  There is an application fee of $43.51 but students do not pay for the course.  Please contact Ms. Giesbrecht if you are interested in applying.
