The Oak Bay Girls Development Field Hockey Team had a great season.  The athletes won their league standings with a 7 win, zero loss record and ended the season with a third place finish at the Tier 2 Island Championships. Congratulations to all the girls on a fantastic season.

 We will be installing 30-40 study carrels throughout the school on Friday.  If there is a specific site where you would like a carrel placed, please contact Ms. Sherstobitoff.

In honour of the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), The Cultural Connection Club is hosting a gathering on Friday, November 3rd after school in the cafeteria for the school. There will be food, drinks and music. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Volunteer Opportunity

The 9th Annual Gingerbread Showcase needs Ambassadors!
Are you looking to get into the holiday spirit while you help Habitat Victoria raise funds to build homes for local lower income families? Are you 16 or older? We have over 350 volunteer spaces to be filled at Victoria’s premier festive event, the Gingerbread Showcase which runs from November 18, 2017 to January 2, 2018. ​During a three-hour shift you will be welcoming some of the 25,000+ visitors who will come to The Parkside Hotel & Spa to vote for their favourite elaborate, completely edible creation while making a donation to our charity. On-site training will be offered November 17 and 18. Sign up on your own or with a friend for one or many shifts!
