GIRLS RUGBY – Girls Rugby practice is CANCELLED today due to the snow.
ATTENTION TENNIS PLAYERS – Oak Bay Tennis Tryouts started today. Other tryout dates are Feb. 10th and 13th in the morning in the Tennis Bubble. New players are welcomed and needed.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP – Mr. Ammon, A UVic researcher and secondary teacher in the district needs your help to conduct a study of Grade 12 students participating in a student leadership course (SLC). If you are interested in being a participant, please contact Mr. Ammon via email directly: rammon@sd61.bc.ca. Subject line: Student Leadership Study. The study will begin in the next few weeks.

CAREER CENTRE – Applications are now open for the 2017 Vancouver Island Youth Parliament Session, March 10-12 on Salt Spring Island. VIYP provides a forum in which youth can develop skills in leadership, public speaking, and the parliamentary process, and put these skills into practice through service to youth in their community.
