HAPPENING THIS WEEK: Tuesday– Choir Concert 7pm. Wednesday– Report cards home @2:45pm. Thursday– Team Planning & Study Hall no block 4. Friday- Cafeteria closed. Saturday – Oak Bay Band Tuba Christmas at Market square @1pm.

TODAY’S ADVISORY –  If your advisory is (or will be) making a fantastic & amazing Music Video Lip Sync Remake please remind the students that they need to submit them to me by Thursday of this week. We need time gather them all, review them and edit some of them down into a compilation that can be shown at the Winter Assembly.      They can submit them to me either by:      1. Google Drive         2. Memory Stick        or      3. Sharing on Youtube       Or another method but they need to come see me and show me b/c I think those are the main 3 that I am familiar with.  If you or your students have any questions they can come Mr. Jacques in room 300.  Peace & Good Health.

CHRISTMAS ASSEMBLY SLIDE-SHOW – anyone interested in submitting photos for the Christmas Assembly slide-show, please contact Chloe Morris or Samantha Buckingham through Facebook asap.

POLAR BEAR SWIM – and Winter Assembly Friday December 16, – We are looking for student lifeguards to volunteer for the Polar Bear Swim at Willows beach.  If you are interested, please contact Ms. Taggart room 304 asap.

 ADVISORY TEACHERS – reminder- your report card envelopes will be in your mail drawers in the office sometime today, for Wednesday’s distribution. Remind your students to return the signed envelopes back to you for next report period in March.

2017 GRADS – who missed the October grad photo session or that want a retake grad photo, can sign up for a photo session time in the office.  The grad photo retake day is next Tuesday, December 13.  First time sitting fee bring  $10.00.

Ski/Snowboard Team – please ensure you have returned your package of permission forms to Mrs. Horwood’s box in the office.  Mandatory meeting in the BLACK BOX on Wednesday night at 7:30pm.

 CAREER CENTER – VOLUNTEERING – Garry Oak Ecosystem Restoration at Fort Rodd Hill is looking for student volunteers.  You will have the opportunity to learn about endangered Garry oak ecosystems, native plant propagation, remove invasive species, and enjoy the outdoors.  Bi-weekly scheduled volunteer days from 10am to 3pm with lunch is provided. CHRISTMAS HAMPERS – We are looking to organize Christmas Hampers this year for families who are in need.  This is something that is typically done through advisories, and then is wrapped and delivered on the last day of school (Friday, December 16th).     We fill the Christmas Hampers with food, gifts specific to that family, and gift certificates.  Please let Ms. Kubicek room 313 know ASAP, if your Advisory is interested in, and whether you would like to do this independently or share your hamper with another Advisory.
