NEW TODAY

GRADS HEADED TO UVIC
All students who will be attending UVic next fall are invited to attend a UVic Registration session in the cafeteria TODAY during focus.  This is a very important session as it explains how to use their system to register for your courses next year.

All grade 10 students wanting to apply to the mentorship program, please remember that your application page is due TODAY into the box in the office. Please consider applying, we’re looking for your support!

Congratulations to the Junior Barbs Rugby team for winning the City Championships and the Senior Sevens team for placing 2nd!

Congrats to the Oak Bay High School Golf team for qualifying for BC’s yesterday at Gorge Vale Golf Course. They placed in the 5th and final spot and will be off to Nanaimo on the 4th, 5th and 6th of June…back in plenty of time for the grad ceremony.

The following students will be registered for dual credit courses next year once they pay the online registration fee at Camosun.  Students can pick up the instruction on how to do this in Mrs. Giesbrecht’s office or go to Camosun College Dual Credit Application Instructions

All students will need to print out the registration confirmation page and give it or email it to Mrs. Giesbrecht before the end of Friday May 25th.  After Friday if you have not paid then we will allow students on the waitlist in the class.

The PAC at Margaret Jenkins is holding a Spring Fair on June 8, 4-8 pm They are looking for students to help with recycling (just standing by the bins and telling people how to sort properly), and help with running games like a cupcake walk and some field games (to be determined).
