Women In Trades & Technology Event at Camosun Interurban on April 16th. A one-day, all-female exploration into trades and technology, through four hands-on activities. Throughout the day, you will explore three trades and one technology. Pick up applications in the Career Centre. Please have your applications in to Ms. Giesbrecht by the deadline, April 10th.
ISACA Victoria has organized a Springboard Conference day centered on the Cyber Security career pathway! The event will take place in-person at UVic on Thursday, March 14th. Applications can be picked up in the Career Centre and are due in to Ms. Giesbrecht on or before Friday, March 8th. Are you learning English and looking for a fun way to practice your English? Then come and try the ESL Buddies Games Club at lunch today in the Library. Every Monday students learning English are welcome to join this fun, free club. If you want more information, see Ms. Brereton in Room 120.
Practical Nursing is the diploma nursing program and at the end of the 20-month program, students are prepared to become Licensed Practical Nurses.

Volunteering Opportunities
The Greater Victoria Green Team needs your help! We are working with the University of Victoria’s Campus Planning & Sustainability Department to bring an inclusive community engagement activity to UVic campus (Sedgewick building) on Sunday March 17th! From 9:45am-1pm on Sunday March 17th we will be removing invasive plants like English ivy from the forest on campus to help increase biodiversity and make the area more resilient and functional for wildlife! NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! ALL AGES, backgrounds and abilities are invited. Gloves, tools, snacks, educational instruction and a small thank you gift will be provided. Come for as long or as little as you’re able to. Join us for a fun day, RAIN OR SHINE! We will have warm drinks to sip on if it’s cold! Pedalheads is hiring instructors and looking for volunteers for Spring Break. To qualify as a Bike Instructor, students need to be at a minimum 16 years old by their first day of work. We also have opportunities for younger students to volunteer during these weeks! Students must be 13 years old by their first day of work in order to be a volunteer.
