The January Creative Writing Contest is to write a short story beginning with the opening line “I write this sitting in the kitchen sink.”  All entries must be received into the LIbrary by 3:30 on Wednesday, January 25th.

Leadership Circle meets every Thursday at lunch in the Black Box and is open to all students who wish to have a voice or to bring forward a concern.  Come check it out at lunch today!

Camosun College Arts & Science will host an information session in the Career Centre on Jan. 11th at lunch.  If you are not sure exactly what you want to do after high school but know that you want to attend post-secondary this session would be a great chance to learn about the university transfer process.

CUE (Canadian Universities Event) will be hosting a virtual event for students on January 19.  The event allows students to visit with university reps from over 50 Canadian post-secondary institutions.  This event is geared towards Grade 11 and 12 students and their supporters.
Each university will have a drop-in style virtual booth where students can choose which universities they wish to visit and can ask questions about programs, admissions, scholarships, housing and more.

Photo contest Open to all staff and students
After a brainstorming session with students, the theme for the first photo contest of 2022 2023 has been selected. Prizes will be awarded to the top picks!!
Submission Deadline: January 13th.**
The Theme is“Dark”
