CHOIR NEWS – Congratulations to students in Junior Concert Choir and Jazz Express for their outstanding performance Tuesday night at Victoria Sings and to students in Senior Concert Choir, Jazz Wave and Men’s Choir their outstanding performances at Victoria Sings on Wednesday night!

 Me to We Club is hosting a “Week of We”TODAY – Friday is Zinc day. Did you know that just one AA battery has enough Zinc to save the lives of 6 children? Please bring in your old batteries to the collection boxes outside of the Library and in the Cafeteria.”

GRAD CEREMONY AND Grad DINNER DANCE – REMINDER –  Fees are due into the office no later than next Friday March 17th.

 GRAD 2017 – All the information you and your grads need to know about Oak Bay High Grad 2017 is available on the school website.  To access this information from the website, select “Student Info” – “Oak Bay High School Grad 2017” and then click on the appropriate grad hat.  This year we will not be emailing information to parents and students individually.  The Grad 2017 website will be updated as more information is available.

CAREER CENTRE – GRADS – The University of Alberta will be in Victoria at the Parkside Hotel & Spa (810 Humboldt St.) on Wednesday March 15th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm to help students with registering for fist year classes.  Please RSVP to www.uab.ca/reg101 if you plan to attend

*Coast Capital Savings is currently accepting applications until Friday, March 31, 2017 at 4:00pm for the Youth Get It Intern program. This program gives Grade 11 and 12 students a unique work experience opportunity to work full time during July and August, as well as every Saturday when they’re back in school.  The Youth Get It Intern program is a one-year commitment, from July 1, 2017 to July 1, 2018.  Students can find more information about our program and the link to the application at http://www.coastcapitalsavings.com/youthinternsTo be eligible to apply, students must be:   Entering Grade 11 or 12 in September 2017, live in Greater Victoria and must be available to work full-time during the summer months.
