OAK BAY HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL THEATRE PRESENTS- “Bye Bye Birdie” tickets on sale in the Accounts office next to the office. Starts Friday Feb. 19th. Adults – $12. Students/Seniors-$10.

GRADE 9 DODGEBALL – Any grade 9’s who would like to sign-up for Student Council’s first annual Dodge ball

Tournament on Tuesday Feb. 23 at lunch, the sign-up sheet is in the office. All grade 9’s welcome!

STUDENT PARKING LOT – is the big lot at end of Goldsmith Ave by the track oval. Do not park in the STAFF PARKING lots.

IT’S YEARBOOK TIME!!     PLEASE CHECK THE ADVISORY LISTS POSTED ON THE BOARD ACROSS FROM THE BLACK BOX to see if you paid for this year’s yearbook. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO ORDER A YEARBOOK OR IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS REGARDING YOUR ORDER PLEASE SEE MRS CARBERY IN THE ACCOUNTS OFFICE. *DEADLINE Monday February 29.

STUDENTS – Please do not bring $50. and $100. dollar bills to school. We cannot get you change. The Bank will change it for you.

CAREER CENTRE – WANTED:  Cultural Ambassadors to work with Japanese students at Spring Break. ($11.00 per hour) Dates: March 21-25 – Hours: 8:45 am – 4:00 pm – Location:  St. Michaels University School.          Who Should Apply:       All applicants must hold a valid Canadian social insurance number, be between 13 and 18 years of age and able to be employed in Canada.  Students should have an interest in Japan and Japanese culture, have strong communication skills, a professional attitude and be responsible mature leaders with initiative.      Application Process:  Send your resume and a letter of introduction to the attention of Mrs. Aya Robinson, aya.robinson@smus.ca 250-370-6120.  The deadline to submit applications is 4:00 pm on Friday February 12th, 2016.     If you have any questions please see Mrs. Giesbrecht in the Career Centre.

Student Works Marketing Opportunities – Small business in Oak Bay area is looking for students to help market painting jobs.  Training is provided.  If you are interested in a part time job over the next few months and summer please come and see Mrs. Giesbrecht for more details.

FUN JOB – 2-3 students needed to help run two concessions, one at Fireman’s Park and the other at Allenby Park.  The jobs will commence from April to end of June.  If you are interested please see Mrs. Giesbrecht in the Career Centre.
