PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Oak Bay Ski & Board Team had a very successful race weekend at Mt. Washington despite a potentially nasty forecast for weather. The boy’s ski team had their best performance on record, taking the top 5 positions! In girl’s skiing, Captain Tori Fawkes was Oak Bay’s fastest, finishing in 3rd. Not far behind her were Mya Johnston-Stewart and Georgia Henson. Over on the snowboard course, grade 10 Sophie Longe continues to climb the rankings, finishing her best-ever race with a silver. From Oak Bay, Kylee Trumble and Kennedy Palmer were our next top finishers. On the boy’s side, Calum Parker took home his first-ever gold, taking first by over three seconds combined. Behind Calum were Kiyoshi McMillan and grade 9 Archie Hotsenpiller.
