If you signed up and paid for the University of Waterloo Pascal (Gr.9), Cayley (Gr.10) or Fermat (Gr.11) Mathematics Contest, it is taking place on Wed. Feb.24th from 12:30-1:45pm (during Support Block). Please bring a pencil, eraser and scientific calculator with you (no phones or other devices allowed). We’ll provide you with scrap paper and a chocolate bar!! You can try some past contests to prepare at: https://www.cemc.uwaterloo.ca/contests/past_contests.html. Do NOT guess answers. Blank answers get a zero, but wrong answers get negative points. Only fill in the multiple choice answer if sure. Your ranking in Canada, certificates and medal prizes will be awarded in late March. Stay tuned. The Gr. 12 Euclid contest is on Wed. April 7th (not next Wed). Good luck!! Here are the room numbers for each grade; wear a mask for the entire 60 minute contest:

The Oak Bay High Library and English department have a book club contest for you! Check out a book on our contest list, read it then bring it back and ask for an entry form. Lots of prizes to be won!
