Holiday Cookie Decorating will be held in the Cafeteria on December 7th at lunch. Everyone is welcome to come decorate a cookie.
Grads vs Oak Bay Staff Dodgeball game is now on December 6th at lunch in the Big Gym.
Reminder that next week is the last week to bring your books to support the Blind Date with a Book and Women in Need. Thanks to all the students that have already donated.
GoEngGirl (Dec. 3rd 2022) and GoCodeGirl (March 11, 2023) are day-long events aimed at Victoria-area girls and non-binary folks in grades 6-12, for encouragement and background to enter engineering. and computer science. Each day will consist of a team design challenge, a pizza lunch with engineering clubs, and a parent panel talk to answer parent (and student) questions. This will all be held on our UVic campus and will be a great chance for the gals to experience a day of ECS fun. Volunteering Opportunities
Volunteer Opportunity this Sunday Dec. 4th.
The Greater Victoria Green Team would like to invite students to an upcoming volunteer opportunity on the UVic campus at Mystic Vale!
On Sunday, December 4 from 9:45 am – 1:00 pm, we will be helping to restore habitat in the forest by removing invasive species like English ivy. Event RSVP and further details can be found on our Meetup group website at bit.ly/GVGTdec4.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. All ages and abilities are welcome. Instruction, gloves, tools and snacks are provided.

The Volunteer Coordinator for Baptist Housing is looking for volunteers who would like to volunteer regularly though the year. Baptist Housing operates Shannon Oaks an independent living seniors home (just opposite Save on Foods), and Marion Village an Assisted Living/Independent Living community opposite Oak Bay Rec Center.
