As most of you likely know, there was a recent tragedy in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. The Humboldt family has been significantly impacted by this devastating accident. A Nation-wide event has been organized to show support for the Humboldt Broncos. SD61 is having their annual Career Fair on April 19th from 9:00am to 2:30pm at Archie Browning Curling Arena, 1151 Esquimalt Rd. Students will take a bus leaving from Oak Bay at 11:15 and returning to the school by 12:45. There will be approximately 80 exhibitors attending and more committing to the event each day. YOUTH GET IT INTERNS AT COAST CAPITAL SAVINGS
Opportunities for students entering Grade 11 and 12 in September 2018 to be paid members of our Youth Get It Interns. They work as community ambassadors and as Member Service Representatives helping our members in our branches. Being a Youth Get It Intern is a job that requires professionalism and a friendly and helpful attitude. Students will gain skills like leadership, community relations and financial literacy that prepare them for their future endeavours.
