Tennis club starts Thursday morning at 7:55 for check-in. We begin promptly at 8 am. Please be early.
Jr. boys soccer tryouts will continue today after school. Please check the list by the athletics office and be at the turf at 3:15 ready to play. See Mr. Davidov in room 305 if you have any questions.
There will be a meeting today at lunch in the dance studio for all students interested in dancing outside the timetable, including those interested in Troupe, Hip-Hop, Intermediate & K-Pop. This also includes everyone registered in Dance Company & Dance Choreography
Would you like to do math faster? Or would you like to do your math outside of a classroom at your own pace? Our accelerated math program allows you to do math at your pace. If you want to hear more there is an introductory meeting Tuesday at lunch in room 309. This is for new amp students. Grades 9-10 are an especially good time to do it. You can join or stop at any time.
Choir (for all Grades 9 through 12): First Rehearsal is Tuesday at lunch, starting at 12:15 pm in Room 134. We encourage you to bring your food and connect with other singers at the beginning of lunch. Announcements will happen while you eat. *Everyone is welcome to join a variety of the Oak Bay choirs. You do NOT need to be currently signed up for choir. Please join us at our first rehearsal today.
Junior Vocal Jazz: First Rehearsal is Tuesday after school, starting at 3:20 pm. We will be finished by 4:30 pm today. *There is no need to audition for this ensemble. All interested students are welcome!

The Marine Careers Expo is a national initiative that brings together Government of
Canada organizations, marine employers, and educational institutions to connect with communities across Canada. Hosted in partnership with the Royal Canadian Navy, the Canadian Marine Careers Foundation, and the Canadian Coast Guard, the Expo features interactive exhibits, engagement with marine professionals, and opportunities to explore careers on the water. October 3 will bring together marine employers, organizations, and educational institutions to showcase the wide range of shipboard and shore-based career opportunities available across Canada’s marine sector. Exhibitors expected to participate include the Royal Canadian Navy, the Canadian Coast Guard, ABCDMI, BC Coast Pilots, BC Ferries, Canada Border Services Agency, CIMarE, Clear Seas, Horizon Maritime, Hullo Ferries, KOTUG Canada, Pacific Pilotage Authority, Western Canada Marine Response Corporation (WCMRC), and other marine industry partners. Educational institutions and training providers expected to participate include the British Columbia Institute of Technology, Western Maritime Institute and other organizations offering pathways into marine careers.
