Volunteering Opportunities
South Jubilee Neighbourhood Association is having their annual event, Redfern Park fest, on Sunday, August 17, and looking for volunteers! This event is a family-friendly festival with approximately 250 people that come through the whole day. They have free food, beverages, live music, bouncy castles, and more.
They are looking for general volunteers for the day who can assist with some of the above-mentioned areas. Additionally, they are looking for a skilled volunteer who is able to assist with our PA system. This would involve having knowledge of how to hook up the PA system with the live bands that are playing. Perhaps there is a theatre or music-involved student who is interested in getting some volunteer hours.
We have shifts of 9 am-2 pm, 1 pm-5 pm, or all day (all day for PA volunteers, unless we can find 2 or more students that can help with this). We will provide breaks, food, and beverages to these students, in addition to any volunteer recognition letter that they may need. To get involved, please contact Anna at engage@southjubilee.ca
