We will be installing 30-40 study carrels throughout the school on Friday. If there is a specific site where you would like a carrel placed, please contact Ms. Sherstobitoff.
Reminder that this Wednesday, November 1st is Take Your Kids to Work Day. Grade 9’s please ensure you have returned your permission forms to your English teacher.
Reminder to all Planning students to get your P.A.R.T.Y. (Prevent Alcohol Related Trauma in Youth) Program permission forms into Mrs. Giesbrecht by Tuesday, October 31.

In honour of the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), The Cultural Connection Club is hosting a gathering on Friday, November 3rd after school in the cafeteria for the school. There will be food, drinks and music. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Grade 9 boys basketball tryouts tomorrow, October 31st before school, starting at 7:15 am sharp. Don’t be late!

The 9th Annual Gingerbread Showcase needs Ambassadors!
Are you looking to get into the holiday spirit while you help Habitat Victoria raise funds to build homes for local lower income families? Are you 16 or older? We have over 350 volunteer spaces to be filled at Victoria’s premier festive event, the Gingerbread Showcase which runs from November 18, 2017 to January 2, 2018. During a three-hour shift you will be welcoming some of the 25,000+ visitors who will come to The Parkside Hotel & Spa to vote for their favourite elaborate, completely edible creation while making a donation to our charity. On-site training will be offered November 17 and 18. Sign up on your own or with a friend for one or many shifts!
